Jeff likes to call himself a human sandwich board – he’s a walking advertisement for Which Wich and you’ll rarely see him out of black and yellow Which Wich gear (and you’ll never see him in a suit).
Jeff learned the hospitality industry from his father, who owns two sports bars in the Detroit area. After earning a bachelor’s degree at Michigan State and MBA from City University in Seattle, Jeff headed to Dallas in 1994 and developed dozens of successful independent restaurants, bars and nightclubs before deciding to focus on national concepts.
In 1998, Jeff created Genghis Grill, a Mongolian barbecue chain, which he grew to 11 stores in 5 states, earning him acclaim as a national restaurant developer. After winning prestigious awards for the concept, Jeff sold Genghis Grill in 2003 and set to work on filling a void in the sandwich shop arena. Jeff launched Which Wich in 2003. It was a huge hit from the moment it opened its doors, thanks to its superior sandwiches and customer service, and unique ordering system. Because of the overwhelming demand for franchises, Jeff began selling franchise rights to Which Wich in 2005. Since then, Which Wich has grown to over 450 locations in 39 states and 11 countries, and has received industry accolades and local recognition in nearly every market it serves.
Jeff Knows Vibe
At Which Wich, our Vibes are the core of our business, so Chief Vibe Officer is our most important title. It means that Jeff is involved with making sure that the positive energy of Which Wich is inside every store. And that we’re spreading those positive Vibes across the country with every restaurant we open.
Jeff’s vibe of a leaping man is inspired by a painting by David Dalla that he discovered on a trip to Italy.
We stand behind all of our sandwiches. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your wich at the time you receive it, we will replace it, refund your money, or both.
